Adams Twins Benefit Event & Update
Five years ago Kaylee and Aubree were the recipients of the Happy Smackah because of their kidney disease. Please enjoy this special update on our 2012 Happy Smackahs, written by their Super Mom – Linda Adams.
We are so very blessed for the love and support of our family and friends!
We are so excited to be part of the Happy Smackah once again. Here is an update on my girls since last year. They have had a challenging year but still amaze me on their strength, they are truly my super heroes.
It has almost been a year since Aubree started dialysis and she has had her ups and downs. She is still living in Pueblo and trying to finish college, she had to take this semester off because of her health but is still working. We are just praying for a donor so she can continue her dreams of finishing school.
Kaylee moved back home with me in August because of her health. It will be her 4 year anniversary on March 17th for her transplant but her kidney is failing her. She has been fighting for 6 months to keep this kidney but it is now only working at 13% so we are now getting her ready to get back on the donor list.
We are so very blessed for the love and support of our family and friends!
