Community Update on 2020 Happy Smackah

Happy Smackahs,

We at the Happy Smackah Foundation have been closely monitoring the developments of COVID-19 globally and here in Colorado. The health, comfort and protection of our community is most important to us,  and in that light, we want to ensure an amazing experience for everyone with our 2020 Happy Smackah 5k Fun Run / Walk.

We have made the decision to postpone this event until further notice. We feel it is in the best interest of all involved to do this, until we have more information about the spread of the virus.

We are working hard to determine alternative dates and event logistics in the months ahead. We intend to have some virtual options for our current May 9th event date as well as an in-person event for the future, when conditions allow.

We’ll announce our path forward soon. We wanted you to know that we are committed to serving our community, to supporting our Smackah – Kaylee and her family, and once again achieving our goals with all of your help.

Our mission is to build extraordinary communities as a unique provider of community events that enable people to support and inspire each other. You allow us that privilege, and together we have done great things.

We know that as we emerge from this global health crisis, we’ll have the opportunity to gather, celebrate, and be grateful together. Stay tuned.
