Thanks to the Education Foundation of St. Vrain Valley
The Happy Smackah is thrilled to once again have The Education Foundation as an event sponsor for the Happy Smackah, supporting us in creating co-branded reusable bags! This charitable organization, a 501c, provides grants and programs to help students and teachers of the St. Vrain Valley School District.
The Education Foundation was founded in 1985 by former school board member and local philanthropist, Eleanor Flanders. She was concerned about funding for teachers to innovate, and she spearheaded the creation of the private foundation to generate grants.
Over the years of growth, the Foundation has created and sponsored many programs besides teacher grants, including:
- District-wide design challenge
- Crayons To Calculators
- The Eleanor Venture
- Encore Award Program
- Student Scholarships
- Grants for teachers
- Sunrise Stampede
- Innovation Gala
Since 1985, the Foundation has made awards exceeding 2 million dollars to students and educators.
The Education Foundation exists to serve this community, and it is a great honor that they have included The Happy Smackah as part of their charitable donations. We are delighted to be teamed with such an amazing organization. Please read more about them at The Foundation’s Website.
