Thanks to The Education Foundation for the St. Vrain Valley
The Happy Smackah is thrilled to have a new Event Sponsor: The Education Foundation for the St. Vrain Valley. The Education Foundation is a 501c, providing grants and programs helping teachers and students of the St. Vrain Valley School District.
The Education Foundation was founded in 1985 by former school board member and local philanthropist, Eleanor Flanders, who spearheaded its creation.
In addition to teacher grants, the Foundation supports many programs, including:
- Crayons To Calculators
- The Eleonor Venture
- Encore Award Program
- Student Scholarships
- Sunrise Stampede
- Innovation Gala
Since 1985, the Foundation has made awards totaling approximately $1.7 million.
